BioMADE, a recently funded institute in bioindustrial manufacturing, is looking for a Chief Workforce Development Officer.
The Chief Workforce Development Officer (CWDO) will set the vision and oversee all Educational and Workforce Development activities under BioMADE. The incumbent will chair the Educational and Workforce Development committee and will regularly solicit feedback from BioMADE industrial members to ensure the Educational and Workforce Development priorities align well with industry needs.
Advanced degree with 12 or more years of experience in education, workforce development, workforce planning, or related fields
At least three years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated understanding of education and workforce development market trends and legislation
Excellent communication and customer service skills with proven ability to engage diverse audiences
Proven ability to identify, establish, and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including government, academia, and industry partners
Ability to travel to partner sites, as required
Prior experience working within workforce development in biomanufacturing or similar industry
Experience with project management
